# VIP and the shop > Three VIP ranks, prices, what they give and what they never do, how to buy and gift them. More land to claim, a seat that is kept for you when the server is full, a name in colour and, from the second rank, flying over your own claims. A year costs ten months. The shop at [stygion.eu/worlds/mc/store](https://stygion.eu/worlds/mc/store) always says the price; if this table ever differs from it, the shop is right. - **Homes:** everybody has 2. A rank gives more; the highest rank you hold counts, they do not add up. When a rank ends, the homes you already have keep working; you just cannot add another. - **Extra claims and force-loads** add to the base everybody has (50 claims and 4 force-loaded chunks) and to what playtime gives (below). `/fly` "elsewhere" means everywhere except a claim of another team and the nether roof (from height 128). - **A seat on a full server:** the last 5 places on the server are kept for rank holders; an ordinary player is turned away on a full server before they would take one. - **`/nick`** (from VIP+): the name people see in chat and the tab list; your real name is in the hover. 3 to 16 characters, changeable once every 5 minutes, `/nick off` drops it. - **You can get `/fly` by playing too** (mods, rituals, elytra, jetpacks). A rank only makes it convenient: VIP+ over your own claims, LEGEND elsewhere too. - **Teleports without the wait** (from VIP+): `/home`, `/back` and `/tpa` go at once, with no three seconds standing still and no cooldown. LEGEND has the same for `/rtp`; everybody else can use it once every 2 hours. - **Colour in chat** (from VIP+): `&c`, `&#ffca36` and gradients work in what you write. Clickable links in chat are for everybody. - **A monthly kit:** once every 30 days, `/kit` with your rank's name. Rockets without an explosion, a banner and food, nothing for a fight or a crate. The starter kit on your first join and the daily `/kit daily` are for everybody. - **Voting** gives VIP for a few days: 7 days in a row pays 2 days of VIP, 30 days in a row pays 7 (no Discord role). **Soon:** a Supporter badge on the site and in the launcher. ## What a rank never does You cannot **buy** ranks earned by playing, crate keys or coins. The odds in the crates are **the same for everybody** (70 / 22 / 7 / 1 %) and a rank does not change them. No edge in a fight, or in a race for something the world has only one of. ## Claims for time played Everybody gets the same base and time raises it. A newcomer starts at 50 / 2, an architect without VIP has 130 / 5, an architect with LEGEND 230 / 8. ## Crates and coins Everybody gets a **crate key for every day** on the server (at most 30 in stock), and a vote for the server pays another. A crate drops a **coin**: Obol, Ember Hex, Styx Seal and, rarest, Stygion Sovereign. Coins are for collecting, exchanging at the **banker** at spawn (or with `/bank`, 8 : 1 both ways, no fee) and trading between players. Nothing is bought with coins. The coins are drawn by a resource pack, which is required and contains only pictures. ## How to buy 1. At [stygion.eu/worlds/mc/store](https://stygion.eu/worlds/mc/store) sign in with a STYGION ID. A rank belongs to an account, not to the game. 2. Link your Minecraft name (the game gives you a code the first time you join; type it on Discord in `#mc-link`). Then you do not need to type the name. 3. Pick a **subscription** (a month or a year, renews itself) or **one-off** (1, 3 or 6 months, paid once). You pay through Stripe. The rank reaches your name within a minute of you being on the server, otherwise at your next join. | One-off | 1 month | 3 months | 6 months | |---|---|---|---| | VIP | €5 | €13.50 | €25 | | VIP+ | €8 | €21.60 | €40 | | LEGEND | €12 | €32.40 | €60 | The shop always says what will happen before you press the button: what you pay and until when the rank runs. - **One-off on a rank you already have:** the same rank is extended. Another rank (with no subscription) changes now, and the time you had left is converted **by value**: 20 days of VIP (€5/month) are 8.3 days of LEGEND (€12/month), 10 days of LEGEND are 24 days of VIP. You lose nothing and gain nothing. - **Changing a subscription:** a higher rank is yours **at once and you pay only the difference** for the rest of the period; the renewal day stays (a month to a year starts a new year today). A lower rank starts **at the next renewal**, nothing is refunded; until then you keep the higher one and can take the change back. From yearly to monthly: cancel, and buy a month when the year ends. A second subscription next to the first never happens. - A one-off package of another rank is not sold over a running subscription; change the subscription instead. The subscription renews itself at the end of every period until you cancel it in your account at stygion.eu (the Minecraft part); what you paid for stays until the period ends. When it ends, the rank leaves your name. **You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the first payment**: we refund what you paid minus a proportional part for the days the rank ran. A **gift code** for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months costs the same as a one-off: **€5 / €13.50 / €25 / €50** (VIP), **€8 / €21.60 / €40 / €80** (VIP+) and **€12 / €32.40 / €60 / €120** (LEGEND). You pay once, the code (shaped `STYG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX`) appears in your account under [Gifts](https://stygion.eu/account/gifts) and anybody with a STYGION ID redeems it at [stygion.eu/redeem](https://stygion.eu/redeem). A code is used once and is valid for 12 months from payment. You can also send a gift straight to a player by their Minecraft name. A code for another rank cannot be redeemed while the recipient has a different rank running; the code waits. A rank needs a Minecraft name linked to the account. A discount code applies to a gift only when the promotion says so, and at most 20 %. An unused code is refunded within 14 days of payment. Not an official Minecraft product.
